Of course, we are prejudiced in
favor of dancing, believing it to be the best exercise. But if it is not
the very best, we know it sure is the most fun! If you are interested in weight
control, keep in mind you can burn about 150 calories in just 30 minutes!
There are mental as well as physical benefits to dancing, learning the steps and
sequence of steps keeps your brain working as well as your feet. Other benefits
of dancing include:

Strengthen your bones.
Help you with balance issues.
Great stress reducer.
Builds confidence and self-esteem.
But as with any
exercise program, you should ask your doctor if it's okay...plus you should
start out easy. Of course, if you are just beginning to dance or coming back to
it after a long absence, you will going slowly at first with the basics.
